In the anime series Death Note, after the death of the protagonist Light Yagami, the titular Death Note falls into the hands of the world’s top detective, L. L’s investigation leads him to discover that Light is Kira, and a battle of wits ensues. After L’s death, Light resumes his role as Kira and becomes the world’s most wanted criminal. The Japanese task force charged with catching Kira is unable to find any leads, and the case goes cold. Six years later, Light is living under an assumed name with his girlfriend, Mana. He is still wanted by the police, but has managed to stay one step ahead of them. One day, Light is contacted by a man named Near, who claims to have information about Kira. Near tells Light that he has narrowed down the list of suspects to 23 people, and challenges him to a game of cat and mouse. Light realizes that Near is on to him, and decides to end the game once and for all. He kills Mana, and uses her death to frame Near for the murder. With Near out of the way, Light believes that he is finally in control. However, he is unaware that the real Near is still alive, and is about to uncover the truth about Kira…
Fans of Death Note were divided over the show’s ending. Some people felt the questions had been left unanswered while others felt that the event had gone off without a hitch. Makima accidentally gave away the Death Note’s location by attempting to kill her kidnapper. Ryuk killed Light by writing his name in his notebook. According to ScreenRant, Light could have ended up in a Death Parade bar. Light may end up in purgatory because the bar functions similarly to purgatory. In a bartender role, he would have to decide if souls deserve reincarnation, which he would call “juudging whether souls deserve to be reborn.” As Light Yagami died, Misa was seen standing alone on the ledge of a building, implying that she had committed suicide. In the final chapter, author Tsugumi Ohba claims that he had little time to fully interpret Misa’s story, and Matsuda may have accidentally mentioned Light’s death to her.
What Happens To Ryuk After Death Note?
In the anime, Ryuk says that once a Shinigami writes someone’s name in their Death Note, that Shinigami is “stuck” with them until they die. This is why he becomes friends with Light – because he is the only one who can see him. However, it’s never explicitly stated what happens to Shinigami after their human dies. It’s possible that they simply fade away, or go back to the Shinigami Realm.
In the Shinigami world, there is little excitement. Ryuk decided to get another Death Note so that someone could find it and drop it into the human world. He managed to escape a second Death Note from the Shinigami King. Ryuk now has the ability to do whatever he wants with his second Death Note. He killed people in such a way that they could be easily killed, which was exactly what he wanted. Ryuk can now live as a Shinigami without fear of restrictions imposed by the realm.
What Happened To The Notebooks After Death Note?
After the death of the notebooks, they were either destroyed or taken by the new owners of the death note. It is unknown what happened to them after that.
Death Note Alternate Ending
In the Death Note alternate ending, Light Yagami is not killed by Ryuk and instead lives out his life as the ruler of the world. He married Mia and they had a child together. Light is eventually killed by L when he tries to kill him.
What Happens After L Dies In Death Note
The right to do so. Light’s actions kill him, so L discovers that Misa is the second Kira and kills both Rem and Wataru, prompting him to stab L and Wataru to death. The L has absorbed light.
A 2008 psychological thriller anime that received numerous awards for its dramatic direction and shocking twists. It depicts the mind games between serial killer Light Yagami and L. (“The Master Detective”), as well as the intense rivalry between the two men, in a show that has some of the most fascinating twists and turns. When her notebook contains information about Rem, the god of death, Misa Amane is the focus of suspicion. After hearing that Misa is bound by an “Icons of L’s suspicion,” Rem makes a decision that will put her in danger.
L’s Death Makes The Show Less Interesting
The series is no longer as interesting as it once was as a result of L’s death. Because L was the subject of Near and Mello, they have less depth than L. Although L’s death may mark the end of the show, it continues to be fascinating. The show had a 10/10 rating at one point before L’s death, but it is now rated at 7/10.
